Wang Feng is a researcher at the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, the director of the Bioenergy Research Department, and the deputy director of the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics. He received his Ph.D. from the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics in 2005. From 2005 to 2008, he conducted postdoctoral research at the University of California, Berkeley and the Center for Catalytic Science Research, Hokkaido University, Japan. He joined the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics in 2009 and has been working there ever since. He was selected as a senior visiting scholar of the National Natural Science Foundation of China-Shenton Institute of Early Childhood Education, and received funding from the National Natural Science Foundation of China's Excellent Youth Fund, the Ministry of Education's "Young Yangtze River Scholar" Award Program, and the National Natural Science Foundation of China's Outstanding Young Scientist Fund. He is engaged in research on multiphase catalytic reactions, biomass catalytic conversion, photocatalytic conversion, etc. He has published more than 180 papers and obtained more than 120 Chinese invention patents. He has won the Young Scientist Award of the World Catalysis Conference, the First National Jiahua New Category Award, AcS Sustainable Chemistrv & Enaineerina Leadership, and the Min Enze Energy and Chemical Engineering Outstanding Contribution Award. He is currently the deputy editor-in-chief of "ACS Catalysis" and an editorial board member of "Journal of Catalysis" and other journals.

On June 2, 2023, Researcher Wang Feng, Deputy Director of the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, visited Huanxuan Materials Technology Co., Ltd. and was warmly received by the company's chairman Zhang Xuanyu.
