KX-1

In 2016, first generation of catalyst during his doctoral thesis research. Compared with the catalysts reported in the literature, it possesses high specific surface area and pore volume. and has good catalytic activity. At 425℃, the conversion of ethane for this catalyst is 73.7%% with a selectivity of 85% to ethylene, showing a high space time yield of 1.92 kgC2H4 / kgcat/h in the ethane oxidative dehydrogenation (ODHE) reaction.

KX-2

In 2017, after optimazation, we obtained the second genenration of catalyst fomula, furtherly improving the ODHE activity compared with first generation of catalyst, the space time yield of ethylene at 375 ℃ increased nearly 100% for KX-2.

KX-3

In 2018, domestic raw materials were further used to replace the original imported reagents, and the third-generation catalyst (KX-3) was obtained after optimizing the ratio. While maintaining the original catalytic performance, the cost of this catalyst was reduced by more than 10 times. The catalyst also has good stability and can adapt to various balanced gas environments.

KX-4

In 2020, after research and development and improvement, the fourth-generation catalyst (KX-4) was obtained. This catalyst can achieve a higher space-time yield at low temperatures. Compared with the KX-2 catalyst, at 375°C, the conversion of ethane is 75% and the selectivity of ethylene is 86%. The low-temperature space-time yield can be as high as 2.02 kgC2H4 / kgcat/h, and it also has excellent stability (lifespan exceeds 5000 hours, and is still under testing).

KX-5

In 2023 , through cooperative development of the process package with Ningbo Engineering Company, the catalyst preparation process was further improved and the fifth-generation catalyst (KX-5) was obtained . The low-temperature activity of the catalyst was further improved, and the operating temperature was lower than 375 ℃. At the same time, the catalyst has excellent mechanical properties and stability, and it can operate stably for more than 8,800 hours under simulated operating conditions .
